| | Roplast is proud to offer a variety of specialty film choices to our customers. Our bags are manufactured from linear low density, low density and medium density polyethylene film blends. Since we are a custom manufacturer we can select resins and blends to suit the end use and desired look of your bag. In addition to our standard and custom blends we have three environmental film options. We are happy to assist in selecting a blend and messaging.
100% Recycled Content
Save money and natural resources. Get a bag made out of 100% recycled content! Recycled resins are often less expensive than other resin, saving money on raw materials. Available in black and gray film colors and most bag styles. Other dark colors available with some mixing of resins. These bags are 100% recyclable at the end of their life span. Reduce-Reuse-Recycle.
Sustainable Blend
Bags are made with 60% non-virgin resin, which includes Post Consumer Resin (PCR), Post Industrial Scrap and chalk (Calcium Carbonate), a non-petroleum resin. This is our most economical and environmentally friendly blend for white or light colored bags. Our sustainable bag not only has recycled content in it, but is itself 100% recyclable at the end of its life span.
Oxo-Degradable
This blend contains an Oxo-Degradable additive that helps the bag break down (degrade) when it is left as litter. Oxo-Degradable should not be confused with or called Biodegradable or Compostable.
Compostable/Biodegradable Blend
Roplast is one of the few manufacturers of ASTM-6400 compostable carrier bags. Our Enviro6400 film is certified by the Biodegradable Product Institute (BPI) and the U.S. Compost Council. Look for the BPI logo to ensure authenticity. Roplast offers to print the BPI logo on your bags for no additional charge. Many other companies have an additional charge for the use of this logo. | |
